Shacman is the heavy-truck brand of Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Motor Co., founded in 1968 and based in Xi'an, Shaanxi. It is one of China's leading heavy-truck makers, and its tractor units, dump trucks, and mixers are used in construction, mining, and logistics in China and in many export markets. Shacman belongs to the Weichai group. Weichai began building its stake in 2005 through Torch Automobile Group, which held a majority of Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Motor, and Shaanxi Automobile Group now sits inside Weichai Holding Group, which is wholly owned by Shandong Heavy Industry. Fast gearboxes and Hande axles, which Shacman trucks commonly use, come from the same group.
That relationship matters for filters. Most Shacman trucks run Weichai engines, so Shacman filter numbers are largely Weichai engine filter numbers, and the same filters also appear on other trucks and machines that use Weichai engines. This guide covers both.

While exact filter part numbers depend on the specific engine series and build, the following numbers appear frequently in Shacman and Weichai-engine maintenance:
These numbers are useful references when identifying the correct replacement. Always confirm the exact filter by engine model, emission standard, or existing filter part number when possible.
WIX publishes a recommended filter set for the three most common Weichai heavy-truck engines, which is a handy reference for building a service kit.

Because Weichai engines are used far beyond Shacman, the same filters are in demand for many other vehicles. The numbers below appear frequently for non-Shacman applications:
Oil filters. Replace the oil filter with every oil change. Shacman dump trucks in quarries, mines, and construction sites run at high load for long hours, so use a quality filter with the correct bypass setting. WP12 and WP13 engines can use long-life filters, which still must be replaced on schedule.
Fuel filters. Most Weichai heavy-truck engines use a water separator and a main fuel filter. Replace both together, drain the separator regularly, and prime the system after replacement. Diesel quality varies widely between markets, so shorter intervals are often wise.
Air filters. Replace the air filter when the restriction indicator trips or on schedule. Mining and construction routes need much shorter intervals than highway routes, and spare elements should be carried on dusty sites.
Cabin filters. Replace the cabin filter at least once a year. Carbon filters help reduce dust and odours in the cab.
Service intervals depend on the engine model, emission standard, oil specification, fuel quality, road and load conditions, and the manufacturer's maintenance schedule. Always follow the schedule for your specific vehicle.
Are Shacman and Weichai filters the same? In most cases, yes. Shacman trucks use Weichai engines, and the oil, fuel, and air filters are the engine's filters. The same numbers also appear on HOWO, FAW, and other trucks with Weichai engines.
What oil filter does a Shacman X3000 use? Trucks with WP12 engines commonly use 1000428205 (612630010239), and newer WP13 and WP10H applications commonly use 1002070370. Verify by engine model and year.
What fuel filter does a Shacman F3000 use? Catalogs commonly list 1000424916 for the pre-filter and 612600081334 for the main filter, and Donaldson R010018 as a cross-reference. Verify by engine model.
Do Shacman trucks with Xi'an Cummins engines use different filters? Yes. Engines such as the ISM11 use Cummins-family filters rather than Weichai filters, so always identify the engine before ordering.
Can aftermarket filters be used on Shacman trucks? Yes, if they meet or exceed the original specification for efficiency, flow, and bypass pressure. Quality varies widely in this segment, so choose a supplier that can provide test data.
For fleets, importers, and distributors sourcing replacement filters for Shacman trucks and Weichai-powered vehicles, ADAOER Filter manufactures fuel, oil, air, hydraulic, and cabin filters for trucks, buses, and heavy machinery, and supports OEM/ODM development for custom specifications. Cross-reference lists are available on request.
Brand names and part numbers are used for identification and compatibility reference only. Shacman, Shaanxi, Weichai, Baudouin, HOWO, Xi'an Cummins, Mann, WIX, Donaldson, Baldwin, Hifi, and Fleetguard are trademarks of their respective owners. Part numbers vary by engine model, emission standard, and production date, so always verify the correct filter against the engine model and the existing filter before ordering.
